Bewitched | 60th Anniversary
The Documentary

An original idea and an independent production by Daniel Henares drove the development of a special documentary to celebrate six decades of the TV series Bewitched in 2024.
In October 2022, research began to develop the documentary's script. This entirely self-produced project spanned two years, transforming detailed research into an engaging script, which was later adapted into video.
The documentary came to life with visual art, a soundtrack, refined graphic design, and finally established itself as a deep dive into the heart of one of television's most iconic series.
"Wow, that was a deep wonderful
dive into a TV classic."

"Bewitched 60th: Anniversary Special" was conceived by a passionate fan for other fans. The creator describes his work as "a love letter to the series," and the dedication to making this project both an emotional journey and a reliable source of information is evident throughout the nearly 60-minute video.
Rare documents, such as newspaper clippings from the time the show was produced, are complemented by rare interviews, offering a solid and accurate perspective on the eight years Bewitched was on the air.
The narrative traces the journey from the original idea, which evolved into a magical formula, to the success that made Bewitched the number one sitcom in the United States.
It places the viewer within the historical context that influenced the production, explores the show's impact on audiences, and analyzes memorable episodes that marked television history.
Since its release on August 17, 2024, the tribute has captivated fans of the series in English and Portuguese versions, with Spanish and Italian subtitles.
In its very first month on YouTube, the documentary was watched by more than 400,000 people — a number that quickly surpassed 500,000 in the following weeks, eventually reaching over 1 million viewers in a short time.
The documentary also gained recognition and was featured in reports by People Magazine, the most popular publication in the United States, with an audience of over 46.6 million readers.
